Our Vision: A strong and diverse progressive student movement in Texas unified through a collective dedication to the ideals of equality, opportunity, and fairness. Our Mission: To nurture the young leaders of the progressive movement while empowering and unifying their campus organizations to affect positive and lasting change. Our Goals: Discover and Develop the Next Generation of Progressive Leaders Build a new generation of progressive leaders by providing an evolving set of resources and training aimed at improving advocacy, fundraising, and leadership. Empower and Embolden the Campus Progressive Movement Increase the efficacy of student advocacy and action by uniting the progressive student voice on university and college campuses across the state. Establish and Encourage Coalitions Between Student Organizations and Non-Profits Provide a space for students and progressive non-profits to come together and organize their communities around shared progressive values and issues. Promote and Provide Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization Host voter registration drives at college campuses across the state, and educate students about early voting and election day polling locations. We also actively register students at college campuses across Texas. With this new pool of young registered voters, the student voice in Texas will finally be heard loud and clear. But providing training, support, and mentorship to progressive student leaders and their organizations continues to be the cornerstone of our work on college campuses. Through our programming and services, we supplement the outstanding advocacy work of our young progressive activists and ensure that they are equipped to affect positive and lasting change in their communities.
